2017年5月27日、首相として初めてマルタ共和国を訪問、マルタ共和国首相と会談されると共に、首都バレッタ市の日本海軍基地に花輪を贈呈された安倍晋三氏は、７月８日、選挙応援演説中、銃撃を受け逝去されました。ここに心から哀悼の意を表します。

We would like to express our sincere condolence over an ex-premier Mr. Shinzo Abe’s death, who was gunned on July 8th from the back to, while speaking in the election in Nara city, who was the first premier to visit Malta Republic, May 27, 2017, for meeting with the premier of the country and offering flowers to Japanese soldiers enshrined in the navy graveyard at Capital City, Valletta.
